OUR STORY
Humble Beginning
Chattanooga Christian Assembly (CCA) is located in the beautiful city of Chattanooga. CCA was formed by a group of Malayalee Pentecostal believers in 1986 as an indigenous and independent church. In the beginning the services were held at 1122 McBrien Road, East Ridge, Tennessee till March 1989. Through the sacrificial giving of the members, a property was purchased in 1988 and a sanctuary and a fellowship hall were constructed in 1989.
The church facility includes a baptistery and Sunday school rooms. Church services started in the new facility in March of 1989. Pastor V.M. Babu was the Pastor and President of the church till September of 1997. Pastor V.P. Abraham from Oklahoma was appointed as Pastor and President of the church in September 1997.
MILESTONES
During the past two decades we have outgrown our present facility with the number of people that attend our church. In December 2003, the members of the church decided to expand the church sanctuary. In November of 2005 the construction of the new building started and ended around March of 2007. The Lord has enabled us to worship in this new sanctuary since then.
In June of 2016, Pastor Abey Joseph was appointed as Pastor and President of the church.
We welcome people from all walks of life to come and join us to worship. We are looking forward to helping you and your family grow stronger in Christ. Chattanooga Christian Assembly promises to make you feel at home.
